Are we defined by our insecurities?

Adelle from Authentista.com interviewed me about my thoughts on how we define ourselves based around insecurities.

One of the most troubling questions I have come up against in my life is: Are we defined by our insecurities?

One of the primary things that drives us and motivates us to do things in life is our own deepest personal fears. Much of this however happens beneath our own level of awareness and is a result from dilemmas early on in our life.

As a child you may have been picked on, your parents may not have paid attention to you unless you behaved or acted in a certain way.  It has been said that attention is a currency. Most insecurities therefore are social in nature. Here are some examples of how this works:

  • Sickness - Children whose parents are to busy to pay attention to them, may use illness to get that attention. They learn at a young age, that being sick means love & affection will come their way. Thus they will subconsciously manifest perpetual health ailments to gain support.
  • Drama – Lack of attention, loneliness & even boredom is the underlying insecurity for many peoples desire to create continual drama to gain attention.
  • Anger/aggression - Ever seen those dudes at bars, that are amped up looking for a fight? Some children learn that the only way people will pay attention to them is if they instigate violence or drama. On a subtle level It is why boys often playfully tease girls.
  • Class Clown – Humor often self-deprecating in nature will sometimes be the default way people use to gain attention.
  • Over-achiever – Children that learn the only time they will get affirmation from their parents is when they are achieving well in academics and sports.
  • Greed – Many people learn that money and wealth will get them attention. Name brand whores, and blingin clothes & accessories will often be used to try to gain attention.
  • Alcoholism/Weed & other dissociative drugs – These are merely coping strategies for people unable to work through uncomfortable emotions and past issues laid down in the nervous system.

Many people who become doctors do so because they had an experience where someone either died or was hurt badly and they felt powerless to help at the time. Insecurities are powerful motivators and will often direct peoples career choices and their entire lifestyle. Every person on the planet has insecurities, how much do your insecurities define you and what you do? Is it our faults that drive us to try and bring abundance from lack? Does it even really work? Or is there still a nagging feeling that it’s just not enough no matter what we may try to accomplish?

The thing is an insecurity will never be solved by doing something. Insecurities only dissolve once we can work through the emotions that underlie them by first becoming aware of them and then delving deep into how uncomfortable they are and replacing them with feelings of positive relaxed outcomes. Somatic therapy is a good way of going about doing this.

Insecurity fundamentally is an emotion. It is an emotion of lack and thus will only ever be resolved or overcome when a person learns to work through those emotions of lack to feelings of abundance.

Most people have lived with their personal insecurities so long and worked so hard to try and alleviate them using whatever method, that their insecurities becomes a integral part of their identity. Insecurities can drive people to do amazing and incredible “good”  things. However is it possible there might be another better, way to do great things?

Which leads me to a bit of a revelation. The issue becomes when we don’t recognize that our ego has so cleverly tricked us into thinking that we are the victim of our very own insecurities! Perhaps instead we are interested in manifesting insecurities for ourselves because we want to grow in a particular area from an emotional perspective.

The emotional feeling of inadequacy is one of the most difficult emotions for us humans to work through. However if let’s say you were interested in learning a skill, inciting such an insecurity temporarily may be one of the best ways to try and motivate yourself to do go about resolving it. From a meta-reincarnational perspective this is why I believe people choose their parents and the environments they are born into. Fundamentally we are gods couched in creature-hood with the primary purpose to learn how to create through personal development.

Insecurities are therefore not and undeniable part of our identity they are temporary roadblocks we put up for ourselves so we can learn an important lesson. It is important we don’t over-identify with our lacks, but realize we brought them about due to an inherent curiosity about how to advance in a certain area.

Case in point. Someone is not interested in health because they are sick, they are interested in sickness  because they are interested in health. The causal relationship is the reverse of how it is normally thought of.

The way this might work is as follows:

  • If you were curious about peace you may manifest violence
  • If you were curious about empowerment you may manifest deprecation
  • If you were curious about energy you may manifest fatigue
  • If you were curious about mobility you may manifest disability
  • If you were curious about abundance you may manifest lack

The important thing is to recognize is our very own deepest insecurities are a sign of where we find value fulfillment. We wish to define ourselves not by our lacks but by the positive area of our curious interest in personal development. We must learn to love that quality of our inbuilt desire for personal advancement rather than live out of fear trying to supplicate our feeling of lack.

This requires emotionally relating to the self in a new way. Being curious about your own insecurities is a most challenging task because it requires great emotional strength and perseverance to progress through them. Genuine success is dictated by emotional mastery such that no uncomfortable nagging feelings or compulsions are left. And that future issues can be quickly and confidently overcome.

The practical material result in the end may be the same but the motivation will be fundamentally different. This requires a subtle emotional shift within ourselves, a recognition that we enjoy and get tremendous value fulfillment from building ourselves up.

The 3 dilemmas of creation

multidimensional creation - credit aumega artThe following concepts are purposely broad, vague and abstract. They are meant to encompass all of existence or the multidimensional universe.

  • Action – psychological motion; thought
  • Consciousness – awareness, sentience
  • Identity – artificial differentiation through purposeful limitation of perspectives

All three concepts are technically the same and could be equated. They are artificially distorted/separated to try and make sense of what would appear to be paradoxes. They are merely different ways of understanding the base stuff of the universe. It is probably best to think of the universe as being a psychological construct of the mind of god. This is known as panpsychism. Every person, tree, rock & atom is made up of psychological mind stuff. Viewing the universe as made up of psychological mind “stuff” will help you understand these concepts better. The entire universe is alive. Everything fundamentally is mind. Creators and creations are the same thing.

The universe is fundamentally one thing, all separation is an illusion. Space is an illusion as well and this is a principle of non-locality. Illusory physical materialization come from deeper psychological illusions that create them. Psychological illusions are created because of the three dilemmas. It is through the three dilemmas that the universe creates, first psychologically and then a portion of that becomes material.

Briefly the three dilemmas of the multidimensional universe are:

  1. The impossibility of inner vitality to completely materialize.
  2. Identity will continually seek stability, while stability is impossible.
  3. Birth of Ego. Consciousness of self attempts to separate itself from action, this is impossible, since consciousness or identity is inseparable from action.

———————–

The following is an excerpt from the Seth Early Sessions Book 3 Session 138-141

“Identity then, is action’s effect upon itself. Without identities action would be meaningless, for there would be nothing upon which action could act. Action must, therefore, of its very nature, of itself and from its own workings, create identities. Again, action and identity cannot he separated. This applies from the most simple to the most complex. Once more, action is not a force outside that acts upon matter. Action is, instead, the inside vitality of the inner universe. It is the dilemma between inner vitality’s desire and impetus to completely materialize itself, and its inability to completely do so….

….Action is therefore a part of all structure. Here again is an apparent dilemma, an exquisite imbalance whose result is consciousness and existence. For consciousness and existence do not exist because of delicate balances, so much as they are made possible by lacks of balances, so richly creative there would be no reality as it is understood to be, it balance were ever maintained.

I spoke of this second dilemma. The first dilemma is that which exists when inner vitality struggles to completely materialize, though it cannot completely materialize. The reasons for its inability to completely materialize have been given in a previous session, and I will discuss the matter again at a later date.

This first dilemma results in action, and from action’s own working upon itself we have seen that identity was formed, and that these two are inseparable….

…we will speak of our second dilemma.

Action, having of itself, and because of its nature, formed identity, now also because of its nature would seem to destroy identity, since action must involve change. And any change would seem to threaten identity.

It is however a mistaken notion that identity is dependent upon stability. Identity, because of its characteristics, will continually seek stability, while stability is impossible. And this is our second dilemma.

multidimensional strain abstract experIt is this dilemma, precisely between identity’s constant attempts to maintain stability, and actions inherent drive for change, that results in the imbalance, the exquisite creative by-product that is consciousness of self. We have a series of creative strains. Identity must seek stability while action must seek change, yet identity could not exist without change, without action, for it is the result of action, and not apart from it but a part of it.

Identities are never constant, as you yourselves are not the same consciously or unconsciously from one moment to another. Every action is a termination, as we discussed earlier. And yet without the termination, identity would cease to exist, for consciousness without action would cease to be conscious.

Consciousness therefore is not a thing in itself. It is a dimension of action. It is an almost miraculous state, made possible by what I choose to call a series of creative dilemmas…

…It should be fairly easy to understand now how the second dilemma evolved from the first. I have said that the second dilemma resulted in, and constantly results in, consciousness of self. Now. Consciousness of self is not the same thing as consciousness of ego self. Consciousness of self is still consciousness directly connected with action.

Ego consciousness is the result of our third dilemma…

The ego is a state resulting from the third creative dilemma, which happens when consciousness of self attempts to separate itself from action.

Since this is obviously impossible, since no consciousness or identity can exist without action, because they are inseparable, we have our third dilemma.

A note of further explanation here. The difference between consciousness of self as a result of our second dilemma, and ego consciousness as a result of our third dilemma, should be made very clear.

Consciousness of self involves a consciousness of self within, amid, and as a part of action. Ego consciousness, on the other hand, involves a state in which consciousness of self attempts to divorce itself from action, an attempt on the part of consciousness to perceive action as an object. Here we see that ego consciousness, in this attempt, strives to perceive action not only as separate, but to perceive it in such a fashion that it appears to ego that action is not only separate from itself, that is separate from the ego, but that action is initiated by the ego, and a result rather than a cause of ego’s own existence.

These three dilemmas represent three areas of reality within which inner reality, or inner vitality, can experience itself. And here we have also the reason, or one of the reasons why, inner vitality can never achieve complete materialization. The very action involved in vitality’s attempt to materialize itself adds to the inner dimension of inner vitality.

Seed a UniverseAction basically can never complete itself. Inner vitality, materializing in any form whatsoever, at once multiplies the possibilities of further materialization. At the same time, because inner vitality is self-generating, only a minute fraction of inner vitality is needed to seed a whole universe.

Inner vitality attempts therefore to materialize itself completely, and yet because of its very nature, with each materialization it increases itself, making the attempt impossible. This is the basic dilemma, from which all types of reality spring….”

“…I have said that identity is a part of action, and basically inseparable from action. Identity attempts to form meaningful patterns and relationships from action. Consciousness is action that perceives itself. The ego is action’s attempt to stand off from itself.

Action may show itself as motion, but it is much more than motion in the terms which you usually use, and motion is but one small dimension within actions realm. All types of consciousness represent a different focus of energy’s perception within itself. There is no past or future to action. All action is simultaneous. Identities, some identities and some forms of consciousness, particularly the ego, perceive a past or a present, but this is merely the result of the manner in which such identities and consciousnesses view available data.

A consciousness is characterized by the particular ways in which it views or perceives available action. It is characterized by the type of action which it is more likely to perceive. It is characterized by the pattern of perception itself.

Since action is not apart from structure, but is indeed the formulator of structure, then it is obvious that generally the type, nature, extent and scope of characteristic perception patterns of a consciousness will determine its physical structure, and not the other way around. There is no one particular pattern followed by consciousness in its perception of itself as action. Mankind is more familiar with certain patterns and relatively unfamiliar with others. Any action changes itself. Nothing is constant. This rule is not forced upon action from some outside agency, but is simply a part of its own nature.

Action, you may say, is carried away by itself. Reality possibilities are endless. You are familiar with very small portions of reality. Your perception characteristics at this time dictate and limit the aspects of action that you can perceive. You can, however, focus very clearly on other aspects. And particular types of consciousnesses and identities are merely the result of action’s formation into perception patterns with which it can focus upon certain aspects of itself.

It may be thought that such perception patterns or identities may be limited, but this is hardly the case. For without them, whole portions of reality would never be perceived. There is much here that will take us a long while to explain, for the line can theoretically be drawn anywhere in the formation of identities and consciousness. And herein lies your freedom.

The dimensions of consciousness are not arbitrary. They are not clearly drawn. They are open, they are action.

They are a dimension, as I mentioned. Consciousness is not one thing, therefore consciousness is not of itself limiting. Boundaries may be set terms of a self. A self is a gestalt of action perception patterns, which are formed together through attraction.

This, when it occurs, and this particular formation into a self may or may not occur, but when it occurs it is a result of our second previously mentioned dilemma. The self as you know it is in actuality a self plus an ego.”

Determining Metabolic PNS & SNS Dominance using Myers-Briggs

PNS SNS YIN YANGThe following post is a synthesis of the following 3 posts:

Applying the Myers-Briggs personality system is a quick and easy way to determine your metabolic type, and thus create an ideal diet and supplement plan for yourself.

Dr.Kelly literally stumbled across the metabolic type dieting paradigm by accident. However a full fledged system had existed in Ayurveda medicine and Taoist understanding for thousands of years that came to the exact same conclusions in terms of diet. In fact their analysis is far more complete, however it does not address supplements. Almost everything can be classified according to this yin-yang type of spectrum.  When reading Dr.Kelly’s work I realize he was on the right path, however in terms of the personality system he was devising he was trying to re-invent the wheel in some regards and I think his personal biases lead him to some erroneous conclusions. This is an attempt to remedy that.

The Myers-Briggs system is based on universal Jungian archetypes. The system has been in existence for half a century now and has become incredibly successful. Thus I feel the most accurate way to determine metabolic dominance is through the Myers-Briggs personality type test.

The test can be done online for free and takes about 5 minutes to complete.
http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

The test gives you a 4 letter score with percentages. The percentages are REALLY important for they signify where someone falls on the SNS/PNS spectrum.

Based of strong anecdotal evidence I have determined the two letters that matter the most is the first and the last.

Sympathetic = Extroversion & Judging
Parasympathetic = Introversion & Perceiving

A person who scores a combination such as “Extroversion and Perceiving” or “Introversion & Judging” will tend to be mixed.

Now you can do some math to come up with an very precise estimate.

Rules:

  • “E and J” are Sympathetic
  • “I and P” are Parasympathetic
  • Ignore the middle two letters & % from the test result
  • People who are both E and J the % scores are additive and are classic SNS
  • People who are both I and P the % scores are additive and are classic PNS
  • People who are “E__P” or “I__J” the % scores subtract from each other, with the greater of the two indicating dominance.
  • Divide by 2 to get a score out of 100%
  • Using this you can come up with a definitive score on the PNS – SNS Spectrum, with 0% being in the very middle.

Parasympathetic 100% <———————20% — Mixed area——–20% ——————->100% Sympathetic

Examples:

ENTJ ( 75%, 40%, 23%, 33%) …… 75% + 33% = 108% / 2 = 54% Sympathetic Dominant

ISFP ( 40%, 30%, 67%, 15%) …….. 40% + 15% = 55% / 2 = 27.5% Parasympathetic Dominant

ENTP ( 90%, 45%, 54%, 50%) …… 90% – 50% = 40% / 2 = 20% Mixed with a slant to Sympathetic

INFJ ( 60%, 33%, 80%, 20%) …… 60% – 20% = 40% /2 = 20% Mixed with a slant to Parasympathetic

Someone who is a really low “E and J” say 5% and 7% respectively gets a combined score of 12 /2 = 6% is technically mixed with a very slight SNS slant.

In my opinion this system is much more accurate than Dr.Kelly’s extensive questionnaire.

The personality test gets at the foundation of who a person is and should help eliminate the sometimes confusing counter-reactions people develop from long term stress and subsequent health ailments.

Further analysis can go into the “Thinking – Feeling” spectrum and can help determine how the body responds to stress and what subsequent health ailments are triggered.

  • People who are a “Thinking (T)” tend to have a parasympathetic response to stress aka. Freeze. (Paralysis by Analysis)
  • People who are a “Feeling (F)” tend to have a sympathetic response to stress aka. Fight or Flight. (knee-jerk emotional reaction)

Someone such as an ENTJ who is a sympathetic dominant would then have parasympathetic like symptoms from long periods of stress. Someone such as an ISFP who is parasympathetic dominant would then have sympathetic like symptoms from long periods of stress.

Conversely;
An ESFJ who is a sympathetic dominant, would have a sympathetic response to stress.
An ISTP who is parasympathetic dominant would have a parasympathetic response to stress.I feel this could be an incredible powerful tool in order to plan a treatment protocol. It helps get right to the root of an issue with incredibly precise analytics. With a 5mins test and a 10sec calculation you know exactly where someone sits and what their “natural” stress response style is as well.

Fractal Brain Theory & How to start A Revolutionary Movement

Recently I watched the following videos by Wai H. Tsang on his fractal brain theory and how to start a revolutionary movement.

His presentations are incredible and tie in many facets in a multi-disciplinary way. Much of the information he presents is along the same lines of this website. The talks inspired me to create the following page Gestalt Synthesis – which provides and overview of the areas I am interested in and respective sources of knowledge. My aim is to help establish a new paradigm that bridges the arts, humanities and sciences. Wai Tsang presentations are a tremendous step in the right direction and he sets out a solid framework.

The following are some of my personal thoughts and ideas on his presentations. Hopefully through further dialogue we can further flesh out this new holistic paradigm. I think he is spot on with many of his ideas and his goal of getting people to realize that they are all a unified part of God. That is one of the main goals of this website.

The Fractal Brain, The Golden Ratio and AI

Everything in the universe at it’s base operating mode is fractals. It literally is the foundation for how the universe creates and self-replicates. The brain as a microcosm for the greater macrocosm is a very apt description. This provides an incredibly new useful model for understanding the brain and it’s functions and thus ourselves.

”Know yourself and you will know the Universe” —  Inscription in the Temple of Delphi

The recursive aspect of computation also help us understand sequence of events and how information is processed. Wai makes a tremendous start but I feel that the work of Karl Pribram and David Bohm is a valuable addition. Not only is the brain fractal it is quantum and holographic as well. The fusion of the holonomic brain theory with the fractal brain theory I think is an important step in synthesizing these two concepts in order to arrive at a superior understanding of consciousnesses.

Which takes me into the biggest issues I had with Wai’s presentation. He makes no apparent mention of the Fibonacci sequence or the golden ratio! I find this incredibly surprising as I believe it is key to understanding the mathematical laws of how fractals replicate. This is very apparent across nature. The spiral or the vortex is the sacred geometry of fractal replication. And this holds true of the brain as well. Visually looking at the brain it is quite apparent it is geometrically formed according to the golden ratio. Leanardo DaVinci discovered all geometry in the body can be reduced to the golden ratio. Also music in it’s best form is a Golden Ratio Log – Periodic Series. Even the life code blueprint of biological beings, DNA follows the golden spiral geometry in a 3-dimensional helical like fashion.

golden-ratio-in-nature

Now It is apparent Wai is very interested in artificial intelligence, and here I feel his superimposition of the binary model onto the brain is a rather gross over-simplification and a large miss-step purely for programming purposes. Pure binary trees simply are not found in natural systems.  If you look at the branches of a tree they don’t grow in a perfect symmetrical binary type way the way cells divide. They grow according to the Fibonacci sequence.

fibonacci branches numbers tree

I think this important in terms of computational understanding of how the brain operates and organizes information. Not only do I believe it is not binary, but that it isn’t quibits either but goes beyond according to the Fibonacci sequence. I think this needs to be mathematically incorporated into AI systems then therefore as well in order to obtain a superior result. However I believe there may be some technological limitations due to the on/off binary limits of transistors. Perhaps quantum computing can break those limits. The computational power therefore of biological system appears to quickly out-complexify that of modern computing. This appears to put a hard cap on current AI potential. It is seductive to think the brain works like a computer with coded specified functional areas, however even there the brain has the ability to rewire areas in previously thought unimaginable ways.

Now I still think there is some rudimentary importance and meaning to the binary cell division process, but I feel it symbolizes the archetypal aspect of duality. However that duality ultimately manifests itself on the macro scale through the asymmetry of the golden ratio and not a binary tree. Everything from the swirl in a sunflower, the number of leaves on a branch, to the curvature of the brain, to the spiral of galaxies adheres to the mathematics of golden ratio and the Fibonacci sequence.

I still don’t quite understand the obsession with AI and singularity. Don’t get me wrong I think AI still has a long way to go, but I don’t believe it will ever be able to obtain the ability of self-reflection and contemplation. I seriously doubt whether a technological singularity is even possible, let alone desirable.  The way I see it the universe as god already is a singularity, so why do we need another one? I also don’t think it’s possible for a machine to develop consciousness, sentience or abstract self-awareness.

The thought that brains are basically a computer, even a quantum fractal one, and that that is replicable materially I believe is in error, because the source of our consciousness isn’t from the material realm, rather it is from a hyper-dimensional non-material realm. The physical biological brain is a secondary phenomena where the primary mind is non-physical. The biological brain is in many ways a reflection of deeper multi-dimensional processes. The work of Pribram, Dean Radin and Rupert Sheldrake show this all to clearly. Even memory itself long thought to be stored in neural networks appears to rather be stored in a non-physical morphic field of some kind. The neural networks merely tap that information much like a radio antenna tunes into a station. It therefore seems the biological brain is merely a secondary reflection of a much more powerful underlying form. I believe there is much we can learn from the biological fractal aspects of the brain, however in the end we will always come up short. The secret to consciousness lies in non-material realms where Radin, Pribram, Tiller and Sheldrake are looking.

To think we can artificially construct consciousness from the material realm is to miss-understand the very nature of consciousness and how reality is constructed in the first place. Consciousness produces materiallity and therefore no material AI system however complex could produce consciousness  Further elaboration of the fundamental nature of material construction by consciousness in my post: There is no single universe

Grid Wiring

dsi_scan_monkey_brain_structure gridI found this part of Wai’s talk fascinating, and that is that according to recent findings the brain is wired in a grid like fashion and not diagonally.  I feel this has interesting implications from an electrical point of view.

The 90 degree angle appears to play an important part in the orientation of dielectric and magnetic fields with respect to each other. The underlying structure of most things in the universe appears to be squarish or grid like. This appears to be how the universe organizes and creates order on a primordial abstract level. The fractal cube process and the unfolding of it, is how the universe expands. The important thing to understand is that each layer can represent a whole other reality or level of complexity. The re is natural hierarchy that creates an order. The Seth Material goes into this subject with more depth. Please see my post on: Hyper-dimensional fractal cube reality.

Big Bang Cosmology

The Big Bang theory is the most prevailing scientific theory of the origin of the materialistic universe. However I believe there are numerous problems with it and that it would be best left out of any over-arching cosmology. There is so much we don’t know about the laws of fundamental reality that I believe many aspects of astronomy are on extremely shaky ground and outright wrong. In my opinion two key misunderstood components are light and gravity.

Fundamental to many of Einsteins theories is that of the speed of light in free space is a constant. There have been numerous reasons that this is not the case which would seriously undermine much of conventional physics. See Eric Dollard’s Theory of Anti-Relativity, Variable Light Speed theory, FTL, quantum entanglement & cesium light experiment for further info. Einstein also used a fudge factor and a large piece of the puzzle that is missing is the Aether or Zero-point energy.

Another major issue is gravity, which again we have no solid unifying theory for. Nikola Tesla had a theory gravity was caused by ~50x faster than light rays causing differential pressure zones in space. His theory is recently seeming more plausible than current ones and explains the nature of radiation. Tesla’s theory was that EMF light is a secondary phenomena and that there are primary rays we have not yet detected with our modern EMF instruments.

Tesla Radiant Electric Gravity Pressure

There are other issues with the Big Bang Theory. See the top 10 list, and the top 30.

If the material universe didn’t come out about via a Big Bang then how did it appear? The Seth Material puts forth the notion it was like a dream that eventually became materialized. In this way I think we need to completely rethink our notion of how the material universe even exists, and that it is something that coalesces via a quantum illusion from other dimensions of reality. This process is fractal…however in essence there is no start point such as a bang. It’s a process of continuous unfoldment through infinite layers of reality. There is therefore also no end point either…no nirvana or heaven or ultimate singularity. The universe expands inward and outward seeking ever higher complexity and novelty to infinity. In the Seth material Seth states the universe or All That Is on all levels of reality roughly doubles with every moment. The universe therefore then grows exponentially and there is no end, however even this conception falls short in a universe where fundamentally there is no time and all action is simultaneous.

Schizo-Genius & controlling insanity

Wai puts forth the theory that there is a strong link between schizophrenia and creative genius. Here he is right on and I feel recent genetic research along with nutrigenomics can play an invaluable role in liberating genius. About a year ago I became interested in the latest in genetic testing and came across the work of Dr.Amy Yasko (video). She had begun genetic testing and with targeted supplement protocols has been able to successfully treat many children with severe cases of autism. Genetics are extremely complicated but nonetheless there appears to be an unofficial rate of recovery approaching 85%.

The interesting link I would like to point out here is genetic mutations on the COMT gene. To see my personal full-on genetic analysis please click here and learn more about how other genes such as MTHFR & MAO A also impact dopamine production. A double defect on the COMT gene causes a 3-4 fold reduced rate of clearance of dopamine, epinephrine and nor-epinephrine from neural synapses. This means individuals with this genetic defect will potentially have 3-4 fold elevated dopamine levels over standard. This effects the pre-frontal cortex in drastic ways leading to marked increases in intelligence. The flipside is they tend to run a bit more anxious, and under severe stress can go into outright shutdown. This is because adrenaline as a survival hormone does not self regulate downwards like dopamine does. If dopamine levels go to high, the body regulates the process and will cut off production. This can in extreme cases cause wide emotional swings which lead lead to bipolar-ism  There is a fine line with elevated dopamine levels and it is something that if you understand how it works can be managed appropriately if you understand your genetics.

An often downside is that other defects in the methylation pathway can impair aspects of epigenetics and hormonal & neurotransmiter production leading to adverse effects. The great news is with some basic genetic testing & targeted supplements one can eliminate many of the adverse effects, allowing people with suppressed genius to function more normally and at optimal levels. This is an exciting avenue of development.

I believe there are more people being born now at this critical transitional time for the human race that have these double edged genetic defects. They also tend to be highly sensitive to processed food and toxins leading to insanity, which is another red flag for us to clean up the planet. With proper knowledge in genetics & methylation these individuals could be an all powerful catalyst for the human race.

Emotional Centers drive all our Behaviour

Dopamine Cortex VM Amygdala Hypothalamus

This I find one of the most fascinating aspects of Wai’s talk. Understanding emotions is the key to understanding how we as humans operate at the most fundamental level. All our beliefs are programmed in our brain at the emotional level. The exciting thing is the part of the brain that regulates our emotional beliefs is also incredibly neuroplastic which allows us to change behaviors by delving into the beliefs that underlie our emotions. The work of Allan Schore, Peter Levine and aspects of the Seth Material go into this most important area in much greater depth. This is an area I intend to explore deeper in further posts.

Symmetry ….Anti-Symmetry

Wai didn’t go into this explicitly but did mention it a few times. I think an important point to note here is that the fundamental nature of fractal replication occurs asymmetrically. This is why the golden ratio phi is 1.6180339887…….. to infinity. It’s not a whole number for a reason, and that makes all natural systems slightly asymmetrical. The fractal mirroring is self-similar but there is always a slight deviation, perhaps in size, color  geometry or another aspect.

You see if forces in the universe existed in perfect balance or symmetry, it would result in a stasis which is an absolute form of death. Asymmetry gives rise to imbalance which gives rise to motion. All forces in the universe exist in terms of dualities. I go extensively into this concept in my article on Archetypal Masculine & Feminine forces – the keys to creation. I feel this is a foundational concept in understanding the very nature of the fractal replication process and needs to be woven into the fractal brain theory framework. The geometry of materialization exists within this framework. The fractal brain theory is an extension of these primordial forces.

A cool analogue that Wai used in one of his presentations is the process of ice or snowflakes forming. The formation of crystals or ice starts with a small impurity in the water. If water is 100% pure it will not go solid even at really cold temperatures. This symbolizes the importance of asymmetry. It is through slight asymmetries that we get these beautiful crystalline structures forming, that then feed on themselves recursively to infinity. This encapsulates the basis of creation and the universe.

The unifying vision

Wai feels that the fractal brain theory could be what unifies all aspects of science, religion and philosophy. I really do think he is on the right track however I wonder if having a cohesive model such as this would accomplish such a monumental goal. I mean many different religions can agree on some of the basic principles of science, that doesn’t somehow magically unify their beliefs. Taking religions back to their mystic roots I think is instrumental and again Wai’s plan is excellent here. What we need to do is setup an alternative paradigm, one that contains more answers than the existing ones.

I don’t think the fractal brain theory is enough though. I think we need something deeper something more compelling, something that goes beyond an unknowable technological singularity. This is where I believe the Seth Material is key. The fractal brain theory and sacred geometry is an incredibly important part but what I believe is a grander vision of the future is one where humans realize their multi-dimensionality and begin inner communication with their multi-person selves, and often living outside the confines of linear time.  Other planes of existence will open up and our experiential capacity will expand to include a much greater spectrum of creaturehood. In some ways we will all become schizophrenic being able to see and interact with other dimensions and our energetic constructions however there will be an order to it. The other dimensions are the source for this dimension and offer experience that expand the scope of creative potential and synchronistic connection. For more on this vision please see: 2012 to ∞…a new Spiritual Paradigm.

The apocalyptic narrative I think is spot on and will be the framework for how this new reality and paradigm come into being. In how to start a revolution Wai really has a phenomenal idea. In further posts I hope to expand on many of the ideas he laid down in it so we can work towards the eschaton of this era.

Hyper-dimensional fractal cube reality

The underlying structure of most things in the universe appears to be cube or grid like. This appears to be how the universe creates order on a primordial abstract level. The fractal cube process and the unfolding of it, is how the universe expands. The process of fractal squares provides the framework for how the golden spiral or vortex is created. The process of cube outward unfolding/expansion is a masculine process, where as the female is that of inward curved contraction. (see more here) The life code blueprint of biological beings, DNA follows the golden spiral geometry in a 3-dimensional helical like fashion.

GoldenRatio

Fractal cubes are a hallmark of psychedelic trips and are often seen in incredible complexity by those taking Ayahuasca, DMT, LSD and magic mushrooms. Often they appear alive like with vitality and are in continuous motion. Cubes or as Seth refers to them as “consciousness units” are the smallest indivisible units of the universe. Everything is constructed from these primordial cubes which he refers to also as “mental enclosures”. Each cube signifies a unit of consciousness and is often symbolically represented as an eye signifying awareness and sentience. The cubes then stack together to form shapes much like building blocks or legos are used to construct increasingly more complex things.

The cubes represent the primary substrate of the universe the stuff the material universe such as atoms and molecules are made up of. Physical reality thus is an emergent property of these cubes or consciousness units. The material universe then can be considered a secondary phenomenon. The primary gestalt exists in a hyperdimensional counterspace, where the secondary is what we perceive in “space”.

The important thing to understand is that cubes can also exist within other cubes as Russian dolls exist one within the other. The layers of onion is another good way to think about it. However, each layer then can also represent a whole other reality or level of complexity.

russian dolls hypercube

The cubes form a matrix like tapestry and greater tapestries can be considered planes. People who have gone astral travelling often report each plane or dimension looking grid like in the following way.

Astral Dynamics view of planes reality

In psychdeilc visionary art such as that of Alex Grey the fractal squares represent entire universes and form the substrate or tapestry of grander shapes in a self-mirroring like fashion. This ties in with the quantum mechanics concept of infinite parallel universes.

Alex Grey Fractal Self Similar

In the brain neurons are layered in a grid-like fashion with neuron pathways traversing at 90 degrees relative to one another and not diagonally as what was commonly thought. The grid matrix structure underlies the entire geometry of the universe.

The following are excerpts from the Early Sessions of the Seth Material  that expand on the concept of cubes providing the framework for fundamental reality.

“As far as fifth dimension is concerned, I have said it is space. I will have to try to build up the image of structure to help you understand, but then I must rip out the structure because there is none there.

Consider then a network of wires somewhat like, although different from, Jane’s conception of idea construction – a maze of interlocking wires endlessly constructed, so that looking through them there would seem to be no beginning or end. Your plane could be likened to a small position between four very spindly and thin wires, and my plane could be likened to the small position in the neighboring wires on the other side. Yet not only are we on different sides of the same wires, but we are at the same time either above or below, according to your viewpoint, and if you consider the wires as forming cubes – this is for you, Joseph, with your love of images – then the cubes could also fit one within the other without disturbing the inhabitants of either cube one iota; and these cubes are also within cubes, which are themselves within cubes, and I am speaking now of only the small particle of space taken up by your plane and mine.

Again now think merely in terms of your plane, bounded by its small spindly set of wires, and my plane on the other side. These as I have said have also boundless solidarity and depth, yet in usual circumstances to one side the other is transparent. You cannot see through, but the two planes move through each other constantly.

I hope you see what I have done here. I have initiated the idea of motion, for true transparency is not the ability to see through but to move through. This is what I mean by fifth dimension. Now, remove the structure of the wires and cubes. Things behave as though the wires and cubes were there, but these were only constructions necessary even to those on my plane in order to make things consistent with the senses we happen to have at a particular time. I have more senses, so to speak, in operating use that is, then you have, because not only am I aware of my own plane but of yours and other parallel planes, even though I myself have not existed in some of those parallel planes.”  Source – ES1:12

honeycomb_cones_by_allthenightlong-d4xk3be“If you will perhaps consider again our wires and mazes, I have said if you’ll excuse the brief reminder, that these imaginary wires are composed of solidified vitality. They are the living stuff of the universe even as they form its boundaries and seem to divide it into labyrinthian ways, like the inside of a honeycomb.

The planes within the tiny wires, that is the planes formed by the connections and interconnections of our imaginary wires, come into the sphere of each different plane and take on the form inherent in the plane itself. Therefore these wires, if we may use a small analogy, will grow thick or thin, or change color completely, like some chameleon-like animal constantly camouflaging its true appearance by taking on the outward manifestations of each neighboring forest territory. Then too, the inhabitants of any particular plane are chameleonlike, animallike. Solidified vitality wires do not look like boundaries or divisions. They appear exactly of the same type as the other materializations on that particular plane.” Source – ES1:16

This is quite an undertaking in itself. The other numberless existence quadrants…, …will not concern you for quite some time. Needless to say I wanted you to know that there is much more than even this, complexities that are truly astounding, intelligences that operate in what I suppose you would call a gestalt fashion, building blocks of vitalities of truly unbelievable maturity, awareness and comprehension. These are the near ultimate.

The framework is so woven that each particle is dependent upon every other. The strength of one adds strength to all. The weakness of one weakens the whole. The energy of one recreates the whole. The striving of one increases the potentiality of everything that is, and this places great responsibility upon every consciousness.

I would even advise a double reading of the above sentence for it is a keystone and a vital one. Rising to challenges is a basis for existence in every aspect of existence. It is the developer of all abilities and at the risk of being trite, it is the responsibility of even the most minute particle of consciousness to use its own abilities, and all of its abilities to the utmost. Upon the degree to which this is done rests the power and coherence of everything that is.” Source – ES1:29

MC Escher Stairs“You cannot have so-called objective experiments when you are surrounded by and dealing with, and intertwined with, the elements of the camouflage universe. You are, or scientists are, working within what may be described as one small cube within literally millions of somewhat similar though different cubes, the cubes aII representing various camouflage universes.

If they were ever lucky enough to pierce through their own cube, which is doubtful, they would merely discover the cube nearest to them, without ever Imagining that there were literally numberless such cubes. A small portion of the spacious present appears in your cube but you see it in camouflage terms of continuity, in camouflage waves of past, present and future.

Like rats in mazes, with luck you could theoretically travel from one cube or maze to another, though practically this is impossible. But even if your experiments gave you knowledge of many of these camouflage cube universes, you would learn little of the basic uncamouflaged inner universe, where all such divisions disappear.” Source – ES2:45

———

“The consciousness always comes first, representing individualized, extremely potent bits of energy that compose the basic or inner universe. They materialize upon your plane, forming their blocks of construction. The creation that causes the whole to be more than the sum of its parts is merely the inner identities, the bulk of this consciousness not able to fully materialize upon the physical plane. In other words, no consciousness fully materializes upon the physical plane.” Source – ES2:54

———

“Nothing but the various stages of consciousness separates dimensions.

Other systems exist within the same space occupied by your own, but you cannot perceive them.

You can conceive of a fourth-dimensional cube, for example, but you cannot conceive of a fourth-dimensional thinking process. You cannot conceive of a fourth-dimensional psychological structure. You cannot think in fourth-dimensional terms. You cannot use fourth-dimensional imagination.

No thought has been given to the personality structure as it exists in a fourth-dimensional reality, or in a fifth-dimensional reality, and yet a fourth or fifth-dimensional personality structure contains the most important hints of all.

In each dimension, the inner self begins to handle further aspects of reality. The primary personality must therefore deal with a much larger number of perceptions while still maintaining its identity. It manipulates in a larger number of dimensions until it is able to handle many, not just one, of its own egos at any given “time” while still maintaining its own inner stability and individuality. It takes on more roles and the psychological structure becomes more complicated as the inner self becomes sure enough of itself to admit ever more stimuli while still retaining it own core.

‘This materials is as important as any I have given you, and we shall be concerned for a while with personality structures as they exist within other dimensions.” ES6:? (source)

Analysis of Phase 1 Detox – Cytochrome P450:

CYP1B1 (up-regulator polymorophsim):
Description – 2 SNPs were measured for this Gene. Specific variants are L432V +/- and N453S negative. This gene is responsible for 4-hydroxylation of estrogen as well as detox of common environmental toxins.

Treatment – Currently supplementing with DIM to support the production of good estrogen

Substrates: Caffeine, Estradiol, Estrone (4-hydroxylation), Resveratrol, Testosterone

This means I metabolize Caffeine quicker. Also not to happy about metabolizing Testosterone faster. Grapefruit juice is an inhibitor of this enzyme….maybe drink more of this?

CYP2C9 (down-regulator polymorphism):
Description – This enzyme helps with the metabolism of certain pharmecutical drugs…..none of which I take anyways.

Treatment – Avoid: N/A
Substrate – Ibuprofen (becomes more potent due to slower metabolization)
Inhibitors – Echinacea, Garlic, Kava kava, Milk thistle, Saw Palmetto, St.John’s wort

Gene SNP Analysis of note via Promethease23andMe & OpenSNP:

Yasko Method interpretation of results:

COMT V185M +/+ & H62H +/+

The combo on this enzyme leads me to have a “Super COMT +/+” status. This is a rather serious mutation. It means I have a 3-4 fold reduced clearance neurotransmitters dopamine, epinepherine (adrenaline), and norepinephrine from neural synapses. Thus leading to naturally elevated levels of dopamine and adrenaline. This makes a lot of sense because naturally I am a fairly happy person. In some ways its like I am permanently on anti-depressants making me more resilient to depression. Another plus to this particular polymorphism is that with higher dopamine levels it leads to higher intelligence than average due to how these neurotransmitters interact with the pre-frontal cortex of the brain. Many savants have this defect.

The down side however is the higher levels of adrenaline which leads to heightened anxiety and stimulation of the SNS system. In times of stress adrenaline levels can build quickly, creating a negative feedback loop, due to the fact nor-epinephrine is one of the few neurotransmitters that doesn’t inhibit it’s own production when levels become abnormally high. This is a survival fight or flight mechanism and can quickly lead to adrenal burnout & chronic fatigue if stress/anxiety isn’t properly managed.

This enzyme also processes the colours red & purple. That means ingesting fruits or dyes with those colours can cause an even further slow down of the COMT enzyme. The chemical responsible for this is a Phenol. Dr. Rosemary Waring is the pioneer in research of this. Thus avoiding a lot of the colourful fruits and vegetables is recommended, and when eating them supplementing with a digestive enzyme that breaks down phenols such as No-Fenol by Houston Enzymes is beneficial.

COMT also metabolizes estrogen.

COMT also shares a promoter site with another enzyme called thioredoxin reductase, which helps regulate oxidative stress utilizing lithium. Hence lithium supplementation has been found by Dr.Yasko to be helpful.

VDR Taq status is important to fully understand the ramifications of this defect. Awaiting test result.

Further testing: Get tested for phenol-sulphotransferase-P deficiency?

Treatment:

SHMT +/+

SHMT - Methylation

SHMT is considered a priority mutation by Dr. Amy Yasko. It seems that a defect here has a tendency to lead to gut dysbiosis and imbalanced flora. I have a double defect here and have not surprisingly found much help from taking probiotics. Gut issues is something I have had life long issues with and the SHMT mutation in a way compounds gut issues resulting from the reduced breakdown of nor-epinephrine due to COMT mutations.

Treatment:

MTHFR C677T +/-

This means I have a 30-40% reduced rate of converting folate into the active form called 5-Methyltetrahydrofolate which is needed primarily for methylating B12 in order to convert homocystine into methionine in the methylation cycle which then is converted into SAMe. This has knock on effects for thousands of reaction in the body involving methylation with SAMe including DNA & RNA synthesis, epigenetics as well as eventually leading down to glutathione production.

Treatment:

MTHFR A1298C +/-

This is the more serious of the two MTHFR mutations. This mutation affects the Tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4) cycle which is responsible for the production of dopamine, seratonin, nor-epinephrine as well as a co-factor in the production of nitric oxide (NO) which detoxifies ammonia.

In this case I am not to concerned about how this affects dopamine and nor-epinephrine production due to a compromised COMT, however this can greatly reduce seratonin production which is a concern due to a normal working MAO A which breaks serotonin down. This defect also impacts detoxification of ammonia via NO. I have a CBS up-regulation meaning ammonia production is increased 10-15x making this even more of a problem. The NO cycle further impacts the Citric Acid cycle compromising energy production leading to cellular fatigue.

Treatment:

  • MTHFR A1298C + Liver Support - chiefly for L-biopterin to support BH4 production
  • Apple Pectin & Malic Acid – Potent Aluminum detoxifer

MTRR A66G +/- & MTRR-11 AGG4A +/+

This enzyme is responsible for the re-methylation and recycling of vitamin B12. Fortunately the MTRR A66G +/- is a fairly minor defect considering all other possible MTRR defects. The MTRR 11 +/- is more serious leading to faster detoxification as well as amino acid dumping enhancing the need for more protein and perhaps supplementation with BCAA’s. Because of my COMT +/+ status and the supposed abundance of methyl groups in addition to a normally functioning MTR enzyme supplementing with hydroxyb12 instead of methylb12 is more desirable.

Treatment:

BHMT-08 +/-
This enzyme is the “shortcut” from homocysteine to methionine. This defect appears to be one of the more insignificant ones, and the best thing to do is make sure MTR/MTRR is working properly and efficiently.
CBS C699T +/-

This is one of the most serious defects. This defect is an up-regulation operating at 10-15x normal rate. This means homocystine is rapidly drained from the methylation cycle down the transulfation pathway producing toxic ammonia and sulfites in addition to negatively impacting glutathione production.

Ammonia is a potent excitotoxin. It binds to glutamate/NMDA receptors causing over-activation of neuronal cells. This is one of the key factors in causing feelings of  tired but wired, anxiety, excess muscle tension along the spine and neck, brain fog, psychological fatigue, memory loss and a whole host of other nervous system disorders. It will also cause microglia activation (the brains immune system) as it cleans up neurons that died form over-stimulation.

The CBS defect is compounded by defects with MTHFR A1298C & NOS. BH4 and Nitrous Oxide are used to help clean up ammonia, and if those systems are compromised it will exacerbate ammonia detoxification issues. It requires two BH4 molecules to detoxify one ammonia molecule.

Bacteria in the gut that produce ammonia will also compound the CBS problem. Thus taking things like Yucca root to help soak up ammonia int he gut so it doesn’t leak into the body and start affecting the brain is beneficial. Dr.Yasko often recommends a low protein diet in order to reduce intake of nitrogen based amino acids, however I don’t this is particularly wise. Amino acids form protein are far to essential for most bodily functions. Amino acids from protein in your diet are required for almost every process in the body and all your tissues, fibers, muscles, organs are composed of them. As well as your neurotransmitters, hormones and your detox “components”!

According to Metabolic type theory those with SNS dominance will have a higher protein turnover in the muscle leading to yet more ammonia buildup further necessitating the need for ammonia detox support.

Because Ammonia is such a potent excitotoxin, it is reasonable to assume that excess glutamates from processed flavored food will be even more of a burden. Thus limiting MSG, hydrolyzed-anything and the food additive such as “Natrual Flavors”, “Spices” would be prudent because they often contain hidden glutamate. (source)

Treatment:
  • CBS/NOS – Kidney Support
  • Small amounts of B-6 (P5P form) – CBS uses this as a cofactor and a CBS upreg can lead to depletion
  • Molybdenum & Manganese to help eliminate sulfites
  • Yucca & Charcoal to soak up excess ammonia – (only use charcoal on an empty stomach separated from meals by a couple of hours, otherwise it will also catch valuable nutrients)
  • CBS RNA
  • L-Carnatine Fumarate – Fumarate is used in the Urea cycle to help eliminate Ammonia
  • Apple Pectin – Helps detoxify aluminum which then frees up glutamine synthetase to help transport ammonia out of the brain
  • Other possible Urea Cycle supports: L-Ornithine, Citruline Malate, L-Arginine

Preamble

I came down with CFS/Fibromyalgia/ME when I was 15 years old with no know/remembered trigger. I am 28 now, so I have been battling this for almost half my life. My primary symptoms are chronic fatigue, tired but wired, anxiety, excessive high body temperature…especially at night, full body muscle achiness but primarily neck and spine, brain fog, poor concentration, poor memory, headaches, no appetite for 3 hours after waking- nausea associated with this, IBS, allergies & very poor recovery after exercise. I am textbook ME/CFS/Fibromyalgia.

I have other problems that I have had since birth which indicate issues with Methylation prior to the onset of CFS/Fibromyalgia. My mother used thyroid meds to get pregnant with me, her mother died of thyroid cancer, my grandpa on my dad’s side has prostate issues and his mother had b12 issues, my dad and his mother both got grey hair in their late 20′s, my cousin on my dad’s side has CFS….all of these things are linked with polymorphisms in methylation. So thus I have a sneaking suspicion I inherited issues from both my parents in regards to this. I was a colicky baby, had dry bleeding skin, numerous allergies, anxiety, and nightmares since I was born. All this got worse with the onset of CFS. As a child I also apparently reacted violently to MMR vaccinations.

What has worked so far & my theories on why

I have tried a gazillion supplements over the last decade or so, and been to countless doctors/Naturopath’s and tried many therapies & diets. I even went to the Mayo clinic and after $10,000 worth of work they told me I was perfectly healthy according to their tests and to go home and learn to live with it. Yea right!

30% -> 70%

  • L-Glutamine
  • High Protein Diet

For me being at 30% was, flunking out on half my courses at school, needing to nap 3+ hours a day, unable to exercise, extreme muscle tension, full body aches and pains, severe anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, felling like vomiting every morning and more. This state persisted for about 5 years.

What worked was, large doses of Micronized L-Glutamine 10-20g a day. This increased my energy from about 30% to 60% and a high protein diet took me to about 70%. The glutamine was a magic bullet in terms of the insane catabolism I had experienced with the associated achy muscular pain which had been virtually debilitating. L-Glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid. Meaning if you are on a low protein diet (which I was for those 5+ years) it can cause serious problems.

Leaky gut and irritable bowel are particularly nasty situations and Glutamine also has implications here. Let me breifly describe how I think this works.

When the gut/ intestinal lining develops holes undigested food particles/molecules, particularly proteins leak into your body/bloodstream. These could be from ‘normal’ food, however, in a undigested/not-completely broken down form, your body thinks they are foreign invaders and attacks these molecules mounting an immune system response against them. Also bacteria will leak in as well. Had these food molecules/proteins originally been broken down properly your body wouldn’t be attacking them.
But now, your body is mounting a full fledged assault, exacerbating the ‘allergy/intolerance’ problem.

Slowly it seems like you become allergic to everything you eat, and technically you are. What this does is it severely taxes your bodies detox components namely glutathione and your white blood cells/killer T cells. Now the production of glutathione as well as white blood cells is DEPENDENT on you having a whole range of amino acids that support the methylation cycle and all it’s subsidiary cycles. Remember glutathione and white blood cells are made up of amino acids from protein. If you don’t have adequate methionine, cystine, glycine, etc. your body won’t be able to make glutathione and white blood cells. This is basic math!

So back to the leaky gut/holes in your intestine. We now have a serious negative feedback loop. Any protein/amino acids you are digesting properly are being used to make the stuff to mount an imuune response against the other protein/food particles leaking into your blood that weren’t digested properly. Your glutathione/white blood cells will be used up so fast, you won’t have enough to produce the stomach acid needed to break down the food particles in the first place. Now things just got from bad to worse. And there in lies the negative feedback loop.

You can forget about detoxing, mercury, ammonia, etc. your body is busy detoxing every meal you eat.
This is why large quantities of glutamine are so very helpful for leaky gut. They rebuild the “screen/filter” in your small intestine, that prevents the undigested protein molecules from leaking into your blood. So now your preventing your body from trying to detox all the food you eat. Which takes a humongous load off your immune system.

Now your body is still in a depleted state, so supporting glutamine with digestive enzymes can be very beneficial as well. The goal is to provide support breakdown of food so your body dosent have to expend precious resources to do it. Once your body’s basic system are back online, and your tissues more or less healed, you can begin to worry about detox of chemicals.

Consuming easily digestible proteins such as PeptoPro, a Whey protein isolate with protein enzymes can be very beneficial. Eating red meat, or veggie fiber-dense proteins is NOT effective, it requires too much work from an already taxed body.

What I did was start on large doses of glutamine (20g a day), then slowly ramped up protein intake to 60g with lots of digestive enzyme support over a few months. Once my health was at 50% I decreased glutamine to maybe 5g a day, and stopped the digestive enzymes and then started detoxing heavy metals, etc. It’s important to not put the cart before the horse here.

My theory here is that as an SNS dominant my body tends towards a catabolic state. This means that often it breaks down muscle tissue for energy in an almost preferentially version over fat. Contrary to SNS dogma I now eat a high protein diet in order to compensate for this…however it is currently from a raw vegan sprouted brown rice protein powder source. My body digests it easily and I can fuel my muscles keeping them in a slight anabolic state. This has really helped me preserve energy and alleviated many CFS symptoms. I am now 6ft tall at 190lbs and I eat almost 175g of protein a day. I am eating 35g of protein minimum every 3 waking hours. That’s 5 meals a day. This provides a steady steam of amino-acids to my muscles and body keeping it nourished and from going catabolic.

I also find that pumping iron, really helps balance my SNS. I work out 1x a week for 45mins, and have been building solid muscle mass and strength. Pumping iron appears to force my body and especially my muscles to strive for an anabolic state most of the time, provided I fuel them with adequate protein. The workout is inherently catabolic, however the 4day to 1week rest period in between sessions is where the muscles repair & rebuild and is anabolic. It really grounds out that SNS dominance.

Because my citric acid cycle is compromised due to methylation issues, mitochondrial factories are not working great. Intense Cardio is out of the question so thus I have resorted to a minimalist bodybuilding program instead. Cardio is based on how long your mitochondrial factories can pump out energy. Weightlifting on the other hand is more about rebuilding muscle fibers to become stronger and bigger. That said I do a bit of minor very low impact cardio.

70 -> 75%

Within 24 hours of taking DIM, I had a huge burst of energy, significant portions of brain fog cleared up, concentration improved and muscle achiness diminished. My emotions felt more stable and waking up in the morning I felt somewhat rejuvenated and not like I had been hit by a semi- truck which was the norm for me. The reason this worked was it ties in with the COMT +/+ defect as well as CYP1B1 up-regulation. (for additional info see my Xeno/estogen thread)

75 -> 80%

  • SNS support Supplements: Beta Carotene, Thaimin (B1), Riboflavin (B2), Niacin, Pyridoxine (B6), Folic Acid, Vitamin D, Magnesium, Potassium, Manganese, Chromium, Alpha-linolenic acid
For more information about this see my: Metabolic Diet & Supplements thread

I started the whole list of SNS supplements, and started having improvements in my health within 12 hours. I would say it has boosted my overall health and well being by about 5-10%, but then again I am already on a mostly SNS diet…which really is the most important part.

80 ->90%+

  • Yasko Supports, biopterin, RNAs, Yucca, etc.
I feel the methylation cycle stuff is the last leg for me in terms of overcoming CFS. The Yucca has really diminished the muscle tension I feel along my spine and neck. I seem to have a lot less brain fog and better concentration as well. I’m also waking up more rejuvenated. The anxiety & Stress RNA’s appear to be helping as well.

What’s next?

I still seem to have issues with my cirtic acid cycle due to lack of muscle endurance type energy. Also I still do experience diminished forms of brain fog & anxiety. I wake up feeling somewhat exhausted although it’s not nearly as bad as before.

Louise Hay has put forth the idea that CFS develops in individuals that are highly disconnected from their emotions. This is a pattern that begins early in childhood when a child receives messages from it’s parents that it is not okay to express certain emotions. This causes patterned subconscious repression of emotions and often results in something known as freeze response when novel stress situations are presented. For me personally this makes a lot of sense and I have begun using Self Regulation therapy as an effective tool to remedy this issue and empower myself emotionally and thus energetically. Emotions have an all-powerful effect on the biochemistry of our body and if the free-flow of them is impeded in any way it will lead to health issues.

Nutrigenomics

NutrigenomicsWelcome to the cutting edge of Nutrigenomics, Epigenetics and Functional Medicine. The kind of life saving stuff your standard doctor probably won’t know about for another 20 years. Chances of finding a Naturopathic Doctor who is knowledgable in this area is slightly higher, but even then don’t hold your breath. So thus it is important you become your own doctor.

Every person has a unique set of genes. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could optimize our diets/supplements for maximum well-being based on your very own personal genetic results? I know that sounds so future-esque, however the reality is you can begin to take the first steps today. In fact it is more crucial now then ever as our planet and our food are now loaded with toxic chemicals that are pushing our bodies to their very limits. In addition to this poor diet of your parents or even grandparents can have real lasting epigenetic (gene expression) effects on your life. DNA is like hardware, and epicgenetics is like software. Time magazine has an excellent article on Why Your DNA Isn’t Your Destiny and how this impacts your health.

As an extension of my last post on Fake Estrogen – a modern Health epidemic, one of the things I discovered as being crucial in detoxifying xenoestrogens is a biochemical process in the body called Methylation. Methylation is one of the most fundamental process’s in the body and about 40% of the global population has defects/mutations/polymorophism on a key gene (MTHFr) that is critical for the methylation process to occur. Whats more is that it appears xenoestrogens can actually block the MTHF pathway which is supposed to help create the very detox agents (glutathione) which get rid of the toxic substances. This can create a partial negative feedback loop.

Because the MTHFr genetic defect is so common, supplementing around/bypassing the defect with L-5-MTHF has almost miraculous panacea like qualities in resolving a whole host of diseases and ailments. Methylation is the key to human life and optimal well being. It does the following:

  • Turn on and off genes (Epigenetics – gene regulation)
  • Process chemicals and toxins (biotransformation)
  • Build neurotransmitters (dopamine, serotonin, epinephrine)
  • Process hormones (estrogen)
  • Build immune cells (T cells, NK cells)
  • DNA and RNA synthesis (Thymine aka 5-methyluracil)
  • Produce energy (CoQ10, carnitine, ATP)
  • Produce protective coating on nerves (myelination)

When methylation does not function properly, it is now known to be of the primary root causes of the following conditions:

Autism, Cancer, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Diabetes, Pulmonary Embolisms, Cleft Palette, Spina Bifida, Parkinson’s, Neural Tube Defects, Atherosclerosis, Immune Deficiency, ADD/ADHD, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Chemical Sensitivity, Congenital Heart Defects, Depression, Alcoholism, Addictive Behaviors, Insomnia, Down’s Syndrome, Chronic Viral Infection, Thyroid Dysfunction, Neuropathy, Recurrent Miscarriages, Infertility, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Allergies

Now there is a lot more to the methylation cycle than just the MTHFr gene that has a real verifiable impact on health.

  • COMT and MAO A: processes neurotransmitter catabolism and estrogens
  • CBS: processes homocysteine and if upregulated, depletes methyl groups, increases taurine
  • MTR/MTRR: recycles B12 and processes B12 for methionine production GSTM1 and SOD: major detoxification enzymes
  • GAD: transforms glutamate to GABA
  • HNMT: processes histamine (secondary enzyme for histamine; primary is DAO)
  • QDPR: recycles BH4
  • NOS: processes ammonia, forms nitric oxide from arginine
  • SUOX: processs sulfites/sulfur and this mutation is made worse from CBS upreg

You know an idea is revolutionary when TED decides to censor it.

TED recently removed the following two TEDx talks from it’s youtube channel.

The actions of TED are ironic and actually confirms the point of the above two talks. There truly is a war on consciousness and large parts of science are delusional about their objectivity.

See the following for more information:

http://www.facebook.com/Author.GrahamHancock

http://blog.ted.com/2013/03/14/open-for-discussion-graham-hancock-and-rupert-sheldrake/

Also it appears the prestige of being ‘curator’ (Chris Anderson) of TED has gotten to his head to the point where he is seemingly trying to shape the organization into a new form of Scientology. I mean telling the audience when and when not to do a standing ovation for a presenter? Really!?

This isn’t the first time TED has censored a talk. Check out my previous post here for the other.

There is no single universe – the illusion of continuous matter & time

Holographic Quantum RealityIn a recent Google Tech Talk - The Quantum Conspiracy: What Popularizers of QM Don’t Want You to Know Ron Garret makes the case for the “Zero-Worlds” theory. What I like about it is how it destroys our notion of an absolute materialistic universe and makes it appear as if our universe really is a construct of a matrix like quantum computer.

He makes the case that that human brain is classical, like a turing machine while fundamental reality is quantum.  We are not a quantum computer, however we are made out of a quantum computer.

We like to think of ourselves as existing in one objective universe. However this is impossible based upon what we know from quantum experiments. There either is no universe (zero-universe) or there are an infinite number of universes.

My personal opinion is that both quantum views are correct. However this requires a paradigm shift in how we think about reality. More on how this works later.

Briefly here are some selected key points from Ron Garret’s presentation:

The Zero-Universe interpretation of Quantum Mechanics

  • The Classical universe is not “real”
    • There is no (single) classical universe
    • There is only they quantum universe (which can be viewed as an infinite collection of classical universes)
  • The is not (quite) as strange as it seems
    • Even classical reality is not as we perceive it
    • “We” are not made of atoms, we are made of (classical) bits (“Correlations without correlata” – David Mermin)
  • …. the particle-like behavior of quantum systems is an illusion created by the incomplete observation of a quantum (entagled) system with a macroscopic number of degrees of freedom.
  • “The most incomprehensible thing about the universe is that it is comprehensible” – Albert Einstein
  • “Spooky action at a distance” is no more (and no less) mysterious than ‘spooky action across time.” Both are produced by the same physical mechanism.

Multiple dimensional realities

He goes on to say:

“One classical universe is really untenable.”

“We are our thoughts.”

“We are a simulation running on a quantum computer.”

“The universe I exist in is a good high quality simulation.”

“What you perceive as physical reality is not actually real; it’s actually an illusion.”

4 different mainstream Interpretations of QM

  1. Copenhagen (scientifically untenable)…. there is no collapse
  2. Relative-state (“multiple worlds”, “Decoherence”)
    1. Scientifically tenable but intuitively troublesome, math supports this; universe continually splitting
  3. Transactional (Cramer)
    1. Physically real waves moving backwards in time (predicted by Maxwell’s equations)
  4. Quantum information theory (“Zero-worlds”)
    1. Extension of classical theory with complex numbers

Niels Bohr Quantum Mechanics Real Shocked

————

“Space and time are not conditions in which we live. They are modes in which we think.” ~ Albert Einstein

————-

My personal thoughts on the subject.

So how can it be there is no absolute “real” universe and there are multiple universes simultaneously? This is because none of the universes are “real” to begin with.

First we need to dispense with conceptions of inanimate matter. The universe according to QM theory is like a holographic construct. The key question then is WHO or WHAT is then creating the hologram? The answer is that the universe is fundamentally a psychological gestalt. In those terms it makes the quantum madness much more understandable. The universe is literally continuous self replicating psychic energy. That psychic energy then dreams physical universes and it’s inhabitants into existence.

But why the infinite universes? Why the continuous replication?

The reason is as follows. The universe is novelty seeking. The replication of psychic building blocks and thus universes is a fundamental aspect of reality and how it creates itself. It seeks to know itself through creating itself and multiplying itself. It is the psychological burden of the universe.  It is also said that all reality doubles with every moment. Forever….

The psychic building blocks replicate like pieces of Lego. The Lego pieces are then used to build new forms and shapes. The universe is like a piece of origami that continues to unfold constantly creating new things. Quite simply this is how novelty is achieved through a basic self-replicating process. It is the principle of emergence, how complex things arise out of simple interactions. It is the very basis of life. Pleas read my article Hyper-dimensional fractal cube reality for more insight.

The thing is every new form that is created, then also replicates itself. And this works it’s way up from the tiniest thing to the scale of the universe.

So where do we fit in? We are specialized consciousness that bridge the gaps between universes. All universes replicate forever, our consciousness chooses which replication that it wants to experience and be aware of. Consciousness therefore has the ability to superimpose itself and straddle multiple realities simultaneously. Every previous moment goes on to create it’s own reality, that we are unaware of. Our consciousness is setup to maintain a type of linearity to give a sense of durability out of a universe, that is constantly moving and replicating. This gives rise to the unique type of experience of time which itself is also an illusion. Consciousness has durability, physical reality does not.

Radiolarian Skeleton“….They are in other words, only apparent properties of physical material. Physical material has in actuality two main properties. It is spontaneous and instantaneous.

No particular physical particle exists for any amount of time. It exists and disappears, and is instantaneously replaced by another. The third actual property of matter is what I will call pattern assumption. It assumes and flows within patterns.

The existence of the patterns gives the illusion of a permanence of matter that is highly misleading. There is so much to be said here, as it is also necessary to consider the ways in which physical material is constantly created, and to consider the role of the senses.

This may seem like a sideline but it is not. In the painting of a picture, you are actually forming new patterns through which energy can flow into material form. There are reasons, which I will discuss later, why the painting, that is the physical pattern of a painting, may seem to, and often does, exist longer than the man who paints it.

No particular physical particle has any kind of durability. It constantly vanishes as such, and is replaced. The pattern which is filled by physical matter is composed of, of course, psychic energy; and it continues like an afterimage, seeming to become weaker, as indeed it does, as it or the energy behind it passes beyond the field in which matter as you think of it is effective. Growth in living things, perceived as living organisms, does not involve the extension of a particular physical thing.

…Since matter is constantly created, and instantaneous, many of your ideas of time are of course distorted since you have taken it for granted that matter changes with, or in, time. You have judged a time interval by the seeming changes in a given material object.

This refers me back to your false cause and effect theory. For practical purposes so far this theory has not been too binding, but it is becoming so. Time does not cause change in matter, appearances to the contrary. I am going to skip a giant step, and say that man himself and all conscious beings produce matter subconsciously.

I will fill in the rather important details later. I wanted to make this point, since matter is created by the subconscious, and since it exists simultaneously and instantaneously, and since its creation or rival, and its departure or replacement, are instantaneous. Once this is understood it becomes at least theoretically possible to re-create the material of the past, in so far as the patterns for the material have been retained….

Glowing Psychedelci Jellyfish…Growth is an erroneous conception that begins with the distortive idea of continuous physical matter, durable in time. And as you know instead, matter is the simultaneous expression of consciousness. Matter has little, really no, durability in itself, and is merely the instantaneous form taken by consciousness as it projects itself in the physical field.

Grass is common. It is supposed to grow from seed, yet again no particle of matter is the same in grass or seed. Seed does not grow into grass. Acorns do not grow into trees. Children do not grow into adults. In all instances, no particle of matter is the same in the so-called grown version, and the initial construction. Matter does not grow. I cannot make this too plain….

…The idea of past, present and future is a necessary one on your plane, but this certainly does not mean that time exists in the manner which you suppose. You are obsessed with the theory of beginning and end, because in your situation your camouflage constructions seem to have a beginning and an end.

For the same reason you are also obsessed with the idea of cause and effect, with the illusion of successive time bringing forth the other. Here we have two of your most basic idea camouflage structures: your conception of time as a succession, and your idea of cause and effect.

There is no cause and effect in the terms in which you understand the words. Nor is there a succession of moments that follow one after the other and without a succession of moments following one after the other you can see that the idea of cause and effect becomes meaningless. An action of the present in your terms cannot be based or caused by an action in the past, and neither action can be the cause of a future action in a basic reality where neither past nor future exist….

….There can be order without a succession of moments. There can be order, believe it or not, without your cause and effect. There can be order, and there is order, in spontaneity, and in the simultaneous existence of the spacious present.

Order is one of the most basic attributes of all reality, and order is an inherent attribute in all things. There is no beginning and no end; only your camouflage idea structures give this illusion. All planes of existence have their being in the spacious present, and all fragment dramas are acted at the same time….

….The distortive illusion of successive moments, and of the resulting conception of cause and effect, are both on your plane the result of the observation by the outer senses, and are practical and useful on your plane and therefore have a certain validity, if for you only.

They represent a more or less true account of the nature of your camouflage universe, but if they are understood as being limited to your camouflage environment only, then your scientists would not attempt to use them as yard sticks to measure other universes.

The majority of your intellectual ideas apply to your own universe only and their solidity only stands up within these limitations. I am not condemning or minimizing the importance of the intellect in any manner. The fact remains that the intellect is itself limited at this particular time, but these limitations of the intellect are not static and can be enlarged to some considerable extent. The nature of basic reality is known according to the degree to which it is directly experienced…”

Fear & Hatred – misattributions of survival

Alex Grey - Man ThinkingPersistent fear and hatred both stem from an individuals perceived lack to manipulate his/her environment for survival. Most of these patterns are formed early in childhood long before a child learns how to speak.

Humans unlike many animals when they are born, are completely dependent on a caregiver; usually their mother for survival. That survival is implicitly a form of social survival. In order for the child to feel secure it must feel adequate social relational love which is the signal that the child’s basic biological needs will also be met. Thus for humans social survival precedes biological survival and is the more important of the two at the formative infant level. The desire for social approval thus is one of the primary governing factors in human relations. Threats of un-approval thus are interpreted by the emotional body as a direct threat to survival and this is why they elicit such powerful emotional reactions in most people.

Fear is the result of a mother who gives inadequate, or sporadic attention to the child. This creates a formative anxiety. A mother who is very busy, depressed, or emotionally unavailable and does not give the infant adequate support will often trigger this.

Hatred stems from fear and is the result of a mother who gets distracted by other people and does not give the child adequate attention. The child will learn to hate those that appear to steal attention away from because of the perceived threat to their survival.

Fear and hatred and any subsequent complexes then become the go-to response when a person feels socially threatened. Again this pattern is set up early in childhood and will persist causing a person many problems socially and relationally until these are resolved at the root emotional level. Neediness, social anxiety, lack of confidence, self-doubts and poor self-esteem are all complexes that originate from this.

As an adult the concept of survival needs to be disconnected from the emotions of fear and hatred. Fear and hatred are unnecessary for survival in those terms and in fact will threaten it more than help it.

——

The following are sections form The Early Sessions Book 2 of The Seth Material and expands on this subject. What I wrote above was inspired by it.

“Limitations set upon the self are damaging to the race as a whole, and impede value fulfillment. Psychic gates are closed by parents and fences set up around the self, closing out many important possibilities of growth and fulfillment; these barriers must be broken; as man’s conception of himself enlarges so will his actual capabilities and possibilities be extended. His psychic limitations are largely self-adopted….

…Hatred does not exist as a basic psychological structure, it is, however, the result of psychological manipulation of fear; and fear is not a basic psychological structure.

Survival is a basic psychological structure. Consciousness survival: construction of this basic psychological structure of consciousness survival must be interpreted, or projected or constructed, in terms of physical survival within your physical field.

Inadequate perception, manipulation, or construction in the psychological structure of consciousness survival leads to the psychological creation of fear and hatred.

The individual then constructs fear and hatred into physical construction, giving fear and hatred definite physical form. The error is in the original inability to perceive the correct inner data, the basic underlying psychological the basic underlying consciousness survival.

Energetic CreationThis error may become habitual, coloring all other psychological structures, and resulting in unfortunate and dangerous physical constructions. They are extremely destructive errors, and have many causes. The physical construction is then perceived by the outer senses as threatening and fearful, and influences through the outer senses the inner individual, so that he begins a vicious circle in an attempt to form further, more threatening physical constructions to combat the earlier ones. And the greater the number of such destructive physical constructions, the greater his expectation of further fear.

I have hinted at the reasons for such errors. Habitual errors become part of the psychological perspective. Communication between individuals in the psychological perspective is almost exclusively telepathic, and is picked up early by the young from their parents. In the beginning, children actually begin their physical construction along lines telepathically received from their parents, at the same time that they learn their own manipulation in the psychological perspective….

…There is nothing to force an individual for example to form psychological gestalts of hate and fear from the basic structure of consciousness survival. To do so represents an inability to perceive clearly the nature of the basic structure, and such an inability often carries over into habit so that other basic structures are also misinterpreted….

….The emotions indeed do form the expectations, and it is not the other way around. As physical objects can be manipulated, so can the emotions be manipulated, so can they be combined into various shapes and psychic constructions. A man’s expectations are the result of his emotional heritage, and his own ability to understand and manipulate that heritage.

If he manipulates that heritage well, then his expectations will work for him. The emotions are to be used and enjoyed as psychic building blocks. There is no law, however, stating that a man cannot instead throw these blocks to the winds and hope that when they fall down they might possibly fall into a castle.

Again, expectations are not only vital in the formation of physical constructions, but they also determine what inner data of all available, will be received by the individual; and then the individual interprets the data in terms of the same expectations.

The core of individuality, then, is the individual’s expectations, for he will truly get what he wants, individually and collectively.

If a man wants to change his fate, desire is not enough, but expectation is. Desire may grow into expectation, but alone it is not enough. Expectation is actually the main trigger that switches inner data into the realm of physical construction. Without it, no physical construction results.

This is extremely valuable information, particularly concerning the part played by expectation in the sifting of available data. Expectation is somewhat influenced also by past existences, and yet not enough to be binding upon the present personality.

interpretacion-de-los-suenosAn expectation of danger will indeed create danger. An expectation of success will create success. This is put very simply and yet there is nothing, in practical terms, more valid, since expectation has behind it the motivating force of the personality, and utilizes on a subconscious level strong abilities and comprehensions. Expectation is the force, then, that triggers psychic realities into physical construction…

…Since I have said that expectations are formed by the emotions, then it is obviously the basic emotions themselves that must be manipulated, since the expectations are the frameworks formed by the emotions. This is the starting point.

It is pointless to ignore the tact that you feel hatred, even though hatred is a distortion of a basic psychic mobility. Unless you learn never to distort the basic consciousness survival in terms of hatred, you will always have to deal with seemingly unresolved hatreds and aggressions.

Aggressions are merely the result of energy not clearly directed, invalid survival patterns. If these aggressions are not handled with some degree of success, they will form themselves into expectations, where they will then let forth their power in the formation of unfortunate constructions.

Emotions, or emotional energy, can be transformed rather easily from one to the other. The energy in hate can be utilized in love, for example. However, aggressions can be turned into constructive terms if care is used. Aggressions should be, as soon as possible after their recognition, turned into constructions. If not, consciously you forget the aggression; the energy stores up until it explodes in what we will call an unsupervised construction…

…Physical activity is an excellent way of using and controlling the effect of aggressive reaction, and will prevent the buildup of aggressive emotions into unsupervised physical constructions, and also prevent the habitual piling up of such aggressions, where detrimental constructions result continually…

…There is no getting around what I have said. Emotional power behind your expectations powers your expectations into physical reality.

The subconscious, as you call it, represent a tremendous raw power that triggers forth into construction according to the expectations which you form from the emotions. The intellect should help you understand this power plant, so that you can switch your power where it is needed. The intellect should operate like an x-ray, enabling you to see inward.

While many of your expectations are formed in childhood, no switch is really stuck in one position, and it is your prerogative to channel your emotional energy into whatever pattern for action you desire. It is extremely important, if difficult, to probe and to discover exactly what your present expectations are. Not your desires but your expectations, for you will only construct physically that environment which you believe capable of construction. It has been said that oftentimes men’s expectations are too high for their abilities, but indeed expectations form abilities; and if expectations were higher, so would abilities flourish.”
