I find this notion that Planet Earth was seeded by nine original sources consciousness interesting. To me it helps understand what the soul-level thrust in a person's life is about and how it may be different than others. Reincarnation explained – the Idiot & the Genius and why suffering is chosen as a temporary experience
Your species as a species includes the idiot and the genius, the stupid and the wise, the athletic, the deformed, the beautiful and the ugly, and all variations in between. Freud's emotionalism gave me concern for I considered him somewhat of a religious fanatic, operating outside of religion's conventional context. In many ways he was a shaman, born in the "wrong" country, twice as jealous of his own "masculine characteristics" because he sensed within himself the "perverse" intuitive rushes and psychic leanings that he feared and believed could undermine the personal authority of the ego and the mass authority of the state.
"Now, happiness comes from feeling within yourself the wonder and the joy that is within yourself, and there is no other way in any world of experiencing happiness. You cannot expect a lover to give it to you, you cannot expect a child to give it to you, you cannot expect events to give it to you. It is yours by right if you claim it, and if you do not claim it, or if [...]
First of all, as a race, in the context of normal usage, you have considered yourselves as apart from the rest of nature and consciousness. Your own survival as a species was your main concern. You considered other species only in the light of their use to you. You did not have any true conception of the great sacredness of all consciousness, nor of your relationship within it. You were losing your grasp of that great truth. In the present circumstances you are carrying that idea forward--of racial survival regardless of the consequences, the idea of changing the environment to suit your own purposes; and this has led you to a disregard of spiritual truths.

Within the framework of your own complexity you have the right to say "no" to certain situations, to express your desires, to communicate your feelings. If you do so, then in the great flow and sweep of your eternal reality there will be an overall current of love [...]

The following is a visual road-map of the many different dimensions that encompass who we are as unique individuals. The following are select excerpts from The Seth Material on the ego. ------- "The ego, if you recall, is self's attempt to set itself apart from action, and to see or perceive action as an object. The ego attempts to attain stability and dominance, and resents change. It seeks to limit certain perceptions, to block out many perceptions of which the self is knowledgeable. In this way limitations become fairly rigid. An ego could be [...]
Briefly the three dilemmas of the multidimensional universe are: 1) The impossibility of inner vitality to completely materialize. 2) Identity will continually seek stability, while stability is impossible. 3)Birth of Ego. Consciousness of self attempts to separate itself from action, this is impossible, since consciousness or identity is inseparable from action.
